Mystic Rhythms

(Misty Tomasino)

Multigenre Medicine Music

First Official Resident Artist (January 1 – January 21, 2026)

Misty Tomasino — known artistically as Mystic Rhythms — was Dream Factory Sound Sanctuary’s first official resident artist. Born and raised in San Diego, Misty is a multi-instrumentalist, ceremony musician, and sound alchemist whose work bridges acoustic ritual, heart-centered musical expression, and deep meditative presence. Her approach to music is rooted in connection — to body, breath, heart, spirit, and the elemental forces of sound — and her creative voice reflects over a decade of guiding sound journeys, performing at retreats, festivals, yoga spaces, and communal gatherings.

During her three-week residency at DFSS, Misty recorded 10 songs that explore the intersections of rhythm, vibration, and wholehearted expression. Drawing on handpan, percussion, flute, guitar, ethereal synth textures, sound bowls, and layered vocal work, her evolving sonic palette shaped an immersive sound journey meant to support meditation, movement practices, and transformational experiences.

Her full album recorded here is scheduled for release in mid March 2026, and will reflect both the depth of her artistry and the creative freedom fostered at the sanctuary.

Miles Maeda

AHzHA

DJ • Producer • Educator

Miles Maeda is a pioneering DJ, producer, and educator whose career spans decades across house, techno, and ambient music. Emerging from the Midwest underground scene, he became a key figure within Chicago’s house movement — known for blending deep, soulful grooves with global influences and expansive sonic textures.

Beyond the dancefloor, Miles integrates meditation, yoga, and sound healing into his creative practice, bringing a contemplative and embodied dimension to electronic music.

Prior to the official launch of Dream Factory Sound Sanctuary, Miles collaborated with us in a private studio environment, producing an EP under his current project, AHzHA — a sonic journey fusing his signature house rhythms with meditative and experimental elements.

This early collaboration helped crystallize the vision that would later become Dream Factory Sound Sanctuary: a space where electronic innovation and inner exploration coexist.
